#10 Redirect the Topic… Hijack the Event
By BMartin1776
One of the best tactics one can use against adversaries is one of their own. The radical "left” loves this one, they love to take a question or topic, ignore it and redirect off of it onto their talking points and issues they want to discuss. Lets look at the immigration law as a perfect example. How many times have you seen the topic go from being about people coming into the US illegally, breaking the law, to the topic being about civil / human rights? The discussion then becomes heated over how wrong the anti-immigration movement is, people are just trying to better themselves, make a life for their families; but the key issue... the REAL issue of US law being broken is forgotten and ignored. Newscaster’s countless times fall for this tactic of the radical “left”. This is classic example of marginalizing an issue redirecting to what they want to discuss thus giving them control.
So isn’t it time to turn the tables on them at the next debate/discussion, rally, town hall meeting but with a purpose, a purpose to get them to snap! As it has been pointed out countless times in TAPGW our goal is to push the radicals to the limit and get them to snap ON CAMERA. As you know there is no hiding from a camera and what is caught on video is very damaging even devastating at times for politicians, bias media and special interest group heads. It’s not going to help us if we just hear about so and so going off. This time we are going to deliberately turn the tables on them and take them off their topic. Tell a lie you wonder? Yes, if need be tell a white lie/fib or two and run with it rattling their cage. Take something they have said or done out of context and run with it. Now they will attempt to trivialize or ignore whatever it is but push them on it. The idea here is to hijack their meeting, debate or rally and take it into an area they are either 1) not prepared for 2) something that will infuriate them to no end! Either way you catch them on video and hopefully they will get agitated or will spew lies because they will have no clue what to do or say. If we go back to the immigration issue the “left” clearly shows this to be true because they cannot handle a solid legal argument over US law being broken. This is why they HAVE to push it into a civil / human rights issue when in fact it is not. They are clueless when it comes to arguing the legality issues of illegal immigration, which is why they redirect. They can’t win a legit argument.
The second angle of this is by doing this you have them now off topic, they cannot get their message through. Think about it you have a message you need to speak out on and then someone comes in and takes over the discussion on something you have no interest in, aren’t prepared for etc; think of how angered you will be! Marginalizing them alone will agitate them but always maintain a polite presentation, do not be the aggressor, you “just want to get the facts straight”. Whatever it is bring it up be it a legal issue these people may have been involved in, something they said in a previous speech etc. For example Andy Stern, former head of SEIU, stated, “workers of the world unite”. Take that and run with it… “Andy why do you support communism?” Most recently Keith Olberman and Chris Mathews were not happy with the Presidents speech concerning the Gulf Coast oil spill, “Keith/ Chris why do you support the Presidents agenda?” That time around they didnt but 99% time they are in support of his actions. Use your imagination and spin their words to your advantage, ask them the complete opposite of what they said stick to it agitating them; there would be nothing better than turning them against each other. Now if you are planning to attend one of their events be sure to bring others with you to pull this off and don’t all be in the same location. Imagine you raising a question off topic, possibly get booed then someone in different location picks up where you left off! You never know you may actually create a domino effect as there may be some in attendance who may question what you have now raised!
Keep in mind the radical “left” is starting to crack we have seen examples of this with Code Pink heckling Pelosi, Congressman Etheridge attacking 2 students, Tea Party protestors being attacked the stress is getting to them. By disrupting their events it will throw them into overdrive and more importantly prevent them from getting their message out. The key is to use the redirect and take control thus hijacking the event. Play on their words; instigate an internal feud if possible while catching it all on video. These things must be done and caught on video as it is the only way to wake the sheep up. Right now they are “useful idiots” of the “left”. Imagine if through these acts of agitation they wake up and see what’s going on, think of the “army” that could be built up to once and for all stop the radicals!
As always keep things civil within the rule of law, have fun making them miserable and keep the cameras rolling its all you have to expose them and hopefully wake the sheep up!
