AG Sessions announced a lawsuit against the state of California for being in violation of federal immigration law. Not surprising CA leaders, from Jerry Brown, AG Becerra, Oakland Mayor Schaaf to members of Congress, remained defiant making it abundantly clear they care MORE about illegal aliens than US citizens.
Listen to their words, look at their actions, Leftists are acting out in complete defiance to maintain sanctuary cities/ states, protecting illegal aliens who have no right to be here. Leftists are putting illegals ahead of Americans, costing taxpayers an estimated $135B per year while millions of US citizens remain in poverty.
Frankly, this lawsuit is a joke. It will end up in the liberal controlled 9th Circuit Court where there will clearly be a ruling in favor of CA regardless of the fact immigration law is being violated. This is just one more reason why AG Sessions needs to be replaced with someone who will not play games with these radical anti-American Leftists who are putting Americans lives in danger.
Sessions announcement should have been arrest warrants issued for Brown, Becerra and Schaaf per:
8 US Code § 1324 Bringing Harboring Illegal Aliens
8 US Code § 1327 Aiding or assisting certain aliens to enter
…but they should also be charged for their acts of defiance against the US govt under:
18 US Code § 2383 – Rebellion or insurrection
18 U.S. Code § 2384- Seditious conspiracy
We had a civil war over states being defiant to the govt and US Constitution. Federal law (10th Amend) supersedes state laws, especially on issues of immigration, which is a national security issue. Brown and company have ruined the state economically and socially, while opening the door to illegals putting Americans in danger. Or do the dreams of Kate Steinle, Jamiel Shaw Jr and many, many other Americans who have fallen victim to illegal aliens not count? What about the dreams of those working hard who are being over taxed to cover state programs that benefit illegal aliens over US citizens? This has to end, and the only way that happens is by arresting these leaders setting precedent.
No, arresting them will not make them out to be martyrs either. If done correctly the federal law and penalties are spelled out clearly matching up with what these people are doing. You erase any question or doubt from the public eye, leaving nothing for the media to use in their defense. We cannot have states going rogue to this degree, it will have a domino effect destabilizing the nation.
Lock them up Mr Sessions or get the hell out of the way.
