Dayton Ohio Mayor Nan Whaley held a presser to give an update on the shooting investigation. She then fielded questions from reporters where she was asked about Pres Trump’s visit to pay his respects to the victims and families. It would appear Whaley is took a page from fmr Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake as she encouraged constituents to protest the President!
“I have lots of protesters all the time and even my friends protest me from time to time, so I’m glad that they’re using their right to give free speech comment. Look, I know that Trump has made this bed and he’s got to lie in it. His rhetoric has been painful for many in our community. I think the people should stand up and say they’re not happy if they’re not happy that he’s coming.”
There will surely be those who will protest peacefully, but remember the Left has an army of unhinged individuals looking for any “blessing” from elected leaders to take it up a notch. You can be sure violent radicals are planning to show up, but they will most likely be stopped in their tracks by police and the Secret Service. Regardless when democrat politicians make comments like this they don’t realize to the radicals who are listening it’s a green light to tear things apart as we saw in Baltimore in 2015.
