Below is the article Beck is citing from Business Insider.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s when <a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2012\/09\/glenn-beck-libyan-attack-a-cover-up\/\">Glenn Beck first suggested the attack was a cover-up<\/a><br \/>\n&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How US Ambassador Chris Stevens May Have Been Linked To Jihadist Rebels In Syria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><\/strong>by Michael Kelley | Business Insider<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"syria rebels\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/static1.businessinsider.com\/image\/508089cd6bb3f7e83d000018-620-465\/syria.jpg?resize=260%2C195\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"195\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>The official position is that the US has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/world\/172979071.html?refer=y\">refused to allow<\/a> heavy weapons into Syria.<\/p>\n<p>But there&#8217;s growing evidence that U.S. agents\u00e2\u20ac\u201dparticularly murdered ambassador Chris Stevens\u00e2\u20ac\u201dwere at least aware of heavy weapons moving from Libya to jihadist Syrian rebels.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2011 Stevens <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnewsradioonline.com\/world-news\/us-names-chris-stevens-liaison-to-libyan-opposition.html\">became<\/a> the official U.S. liaison to the <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748704559904576231172563565048.html\">al-Qaeda-linked<\/a> Libyan opposition, working directly with Abdelhakim Belhadj of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group\u00e2\u20ac\u201da group that has now disbanded, with some fighters <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2012\/10\/18\/us-libya-consulate-attack-idUSBRE89H19P20121018?feedType=RSS&amp;feedName=topNews&amp;utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FtopNews+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Top+News%29\">reportedly<\/a> participating in the attack that took Stevens&#8217; life.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2011 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/africaandindianocean\/libya\/8919057\/Leading-Libyan-Islamist-met-Free-Syrian-Army-opposition-group.html\">The <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/worldnews\/africaandindianocean\/libya\/8919057\/Leading-Libyan-Islamist-met-Free-Syrian-Army-opposition-group.html\">Telegraph<\/a> reported that Belhadj, acting as head of the Tripoli Military Council, &#8220;met with Free Syrian Army [FSA] leaders in Istanbul and on the border with Turkey&#8221; in an effort by the new Libyan government to provide money and weapons to the growing insurgency in Syria.<\/p>\n<p>Last month <a href=\"http:\/\/sana.sy\/eng\/22\/2012\/09\/14\/441552.htm\">The Times of London reported<\/a> that a Libyan ship &#8220;carrying the largest consignment of weapons for Syria \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 has docked in Turkey.&#8221; The shipment reportedly weighed 400 tons and included <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TGqgFpToUYo\">SA-7<\/a> surface-to-air anti-craft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades.<\/p>\n<p>Those heavy weapons are most likely from <a href=\"http:\/\/atwar.blogs.nytimes.com\/2011\/07\/26\/reading-the-refuse-counting-col-qaddafis-heat-seeking-missiles-and-tracking-them-back-to-their-sources\/\">Muammar Gaddafi&#8217;s stock<\/a> of about 20,000 portable heat-seeking missiles\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthe bulk of them SA-7s\u00e2\u20ac\u201dthat the Libyan leader obtained from the former Eastern bloc. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2012\/10\/17\/syria-crisis-weapons-idUSL5E8LH6RE20121017\">Reuters reports<\/a> that Syrian rebels have been using those heavy weapons to <a href=\"http:\/\/atwar.blogs.nytimes.com\/2012\/10\/15\/heat-seeking-missiles-in-syria-the-sa-7-in-action-with-rebels\/?smid=tw-share\">shoot down<\/a> Syrian helicopters and fighter jets.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/us-syria-heavy-weapons-jihadists-2012-10\">&#8230;read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What you have here folks are arms deals that went bad and the admin is doing a piss poor job of trying to cover it up!
