Anytime someone references that era they are talking about the Great Depression.<\/p>\n<p>Once again a reference is made comparing our  economy  to the depression but no one will admit that our current state is as bad as it was in the 30&#8217;s if not worse. <a title=\"4 out of 5 U.S. Adults Struggle With Joblessness, Near Poverty or Rely on Welfare\" href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/4-out-of-5-u-s-adults-struggle-with-joblessness-near-poverty-or-rely-on-welfare\/\">4 out 5 Americans are struggling<\/a> on some for of government assistance, record poverty, record number of Americans on disability, <a title=\"100,000,000+ Americans Out of Work: Jobs Report is an Ignored Warning Sign of a Stealth Depression\" href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/100000000-americans-out-of-work-obama-makes-history-as-first-potus-with-54-mos-of-record-unemployment-at-7-5\/\">100 million out of work<\/a> or under-employed.<\/p>\n<p>Now tell me we are not in a <a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/?s=stealth+depression&amp;submit=Search\">stealth depression<\/a> when we are constantly compared that era?!
