This was a very reasonable statement he made\u00a0in a time of war (whether the regime wants to admit it or not) of people we know for a fact terrorists are hiding amongst their ranks as refugees to infiltrate the US and kill Americans.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the four Senators with a sense of rational Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz, David Vitter and Thom Tillis<\/p>\n<p>Here are the turncoats: Chuck Grassley(!?), Orrin Hatch, Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, Jeff Flake, David Perdue, Richard Blumenthal, Christopher Coons, Amy Klobuchar, Al Franken, Sheldon Whitehouse, Dick Durbin, Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Pat Leahy and Mike Lee(REALLY Mike!?)<\/p>\n<p>These Senators are acting based on polls of the uninformed and political correct pressure. Pres Carter acted in a similar fashion during the Iran hostage crisis but no one was screaming bloody murder, calling him a racist and a bigot but for a candidate to suggest similar action which is supported by federal law this committee had to put it to a vote!?<\/p>\n<p>This country has no leadership left. Every vote, every bill, every action by those in power is a chess move for these usurpers to stay in power. And Mike Lee what the hell is your problem? Are the attacks from McConnell and Hatch to unseat you getting to you finally? The safety of the American people and security of the United States is the last thing on these people&#8217;s minds. Since when does the US Senate act on a presidential candidates suggestion to close the door to <i>&#8220;aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants&#8221;<\/i>? Why is that last line in quotes? Because it is part of <a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/us-law-says-trump-right-pres-ban-muslims-dc-can-figure-going\/\">FEDERAL LAW<\/a>, The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, Public Law 414 that is also included within the <a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/us-law-says-trump-right-pres-ban-muslims-dc-can-figure-going\/\">United States Code 8 \u00a7 1182<\/a>. It gives POTUS the authority to do exactly what Trump suggested! Leahy said when introducing his amendment.<\/p>\n<p>Dianne Feinstein said, \u201cWhen I heard the leading candidate of the great Republican Party step up and say that he would ban one religion across the board for entry into this country, I felt like somebody had shot me in the gut because everything I believe about this great country is in antithesis of that\u2026 this is the first time we have an opportunity to say to this candidate: \u2018This is not what our nation stands for.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, in 2001 following the 9\/11 attacks, Dianne Feinstein had called for her own pause on immigration\u2014 in particular, a six-month moratorium on student visas. At the time, Feinstein told ABC, \u201cI have some concern about why we want to educate people from countries that sponsor terrorism, that provide money, that aid and abet, that provide support for terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s mark up, Sen. Durbin said, \u201cI listened to the comments made by Donald Trump, the leading candidate for President for the Republican nomination today.
