Yes illegal because news of the <strike>payoff<\/strike> ransom was a surprise to all. No one in Congress ever stepped forward to say &#8220;yes Congress authorized the money&#8221; to be sent. <\/p>\n<p>Where did the obama admin get the money for the transfer because under Article 1 Sec 9 only Congress has that power:<i><br \/>\nNo Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law <\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Iran nuclear deal is not law nor a binding treaty, so where did the obama admin get the money? Or is Congress in cahoots?!<\/p>\n<p>Last week after news broke of the $400 million ransom for 4 Americans to be released, one of the hostages, <a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/obama-lied-american-held-hostage-iran-said-wait-plane\/\">Saeed Abedini, told Fox News<\/a> they waited for hours at the airport and couldn&#8217;t leave until the other plane arrived. What could Abedini possibly benefit by telling the truth and helping put the pieces together? A few bucks from tv appearances? The admin on the other hand has all the motivation in the world to call him a liar because as pointed above they illegally transferred money to an enemy state of the US!<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t hold your breath for anyone to jump on this though.
