{"id":38570,"date":"2020-06-18T11:32:02","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T18:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/?p=38570"},"modified":"2020-06-18T11:32:02","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T18:32:02","slug":"roberts-liberal-scotus-trump-daca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/roberts-liberal-scotus-trump-daca\/","title":{"rendered":"Chief Justice Roberts Sides With Liberal SCOTUS Justices Against Trump to Not End DACA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court as usual was split on the Trump admins decision to end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), where once again Chief Justice John Roberts became the deciding vote and sided with the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE POLITICAL ACTIVISTS sitting on the bench, ruling against the Trump admin.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, <b>WRITE THIS DOWN<\/b>, DACA\u00a0 <b><span style=\"color: #cc0000;\">IS\u00a0\u00a0NOT\u00a0\u00a0A\u00a0\u00a0LAW<\/span><\/b>. It was an <b>ILLEGAL<\/b> executive order, that obama himself more or less admitted to, even pointing out it was temporary June 15th, 2012&#8230;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6RXSlMu5EDI?start=225\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><i>&#8216;Now, let&#8217;s be clear &#8212; this is not amnesty, this is not immunity. This is not a path to citizenship. It&#8217;s not a permanent fix.\u00a0This is a temporary stopgap measure that lets us focus our resources wisely while giving a degree of relief and hope to\u00a0talented, driven, patriotic young people. It is &#8212; the right thing to do. Precisely because this is temporary, Congress needs to act.&#8217;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Congress MAKES LAWS with regard to immigration, NOT the Executive Branch. Previous to 2012 obama knew his EO would not hold up in court because he stated in:<br \/>\nOct 2010 <i>&#8216;I am not king. I can\u2019t do these things just by myself,&#8217;<\/i><br \/>\nMarch 2011, <i>&#8216;respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that\u2019s just not the case,&#8217;<\/i><br \/>\nMay 2011 obama said I can\u2019t <i>&#8216;just bypass Congress and change the law myself. \u2026 That\u2019s not how a democracy works.&#8217;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>ALSO, DREAMers were given time in obama&#8217;s order to make things right, to apply for citizenship <b>and NEVER DID<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p>WHY is DACA being treated like law when it violates EXISTING US federal immigration laws? Got it? And if this isn&#8217;t the shining example why we not only need Term Limits for Congress but also SCOTUS, then what is? All the back and forth bickering between Left and Right would END if SCOTUS Justices were only on the bench for a finite amount of time. We would not be getting radical decisions, or rejection of even hearing cases especially with regard to the Second Amendment if these people didn&#8217;t have life appointments.
