WAKE UP TAKE A STAND against all these advertisers pulling from Rush initiate<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/savingtherepublic.com\/Tactics\/Entries\/2012\/3\/5_20_Counter_Boycott.html\">Counter Boycotts<\/a> against ALL OF THEM!!<\/p>\n<p>~~~<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/national\/tally-advertisers-dropping-rush-limbaugh-tops-20-article-1.1033865\">By Philip Caulfield \/ NEW YORK DAILY NEWS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At least 20 advertisers have pulled their spots from <a title=\"Rush Limbaugh\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/topics\/Rush+Limbaugh\">Rush Limbaugh<\/a>&#8216;s radio show in the last two days, according to a roundup of online statements.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"rush limbaugh\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/assets.nydailynews.com\/polopoly_fs\/1.1031806.1331053531!\/img\/httpImage\/image.jpg_gen\/derivatives\/landscape_635\/image.jpg?resize=229%2C184\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"184\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/>Seven companies were on record Tuesday, saying they were yanking their ads from Limbaugh&#8217;s show because he called a Georgetown University law student &#8220;a slut&#8221; last week.<\/p>\n<p>The companies were makeup brand Bare Escentuals, Sensa Weight Loss program, online vitamin retailer Vitacost, AccuQuote Life Insurance, telecom firm Polycom, Hadeed Carpet and Thompson Creek Windows.<\/p>\n<p>Three others, Sears, Allstate and home improvement website ServiceMagic, said Monday their ads aired on Limbaugh&#8217;s show by mistake, and were taking steps to make sure the ads didn&#8217;t run again, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/business\/ct-biz-0306-limbaugh-fallout-20120306,0,6024686.story\" target=\"_blank\">The Chicago Tribune <\/a>and a statement on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ServiceMagic\/posts\/10150744036504050\" target=\"_blank\">ServiceMagic&#8217;s Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They join at least ten other companies, including Internet giant AOL, who said they were pulling their support from the conservative shock jock\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s show before Monday\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s show \u00e2\u20ac\u201d his first since apologizing to 30-year-old <a title=\"Sandra Fluke\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/topics\/Sandra+Fluke\">Sandra Fluke<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the advertisers,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/entertainment\/television\/radio-stations-pull-plug-rush-limbaugh-advertisers-continue-part-ways-conversative-radio-host-article-1.1033778\" target=\"_blank\"> two radio stations<\/a> \u00e2\u20ac\u201d WBEC in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and KPUA in Hilo, Hawaii \u00e2\u20ac\u201d said they were pulling the plug on the bombastic radio man&#8217;s show.<\/p>\n<p>Limbaugh brushed off the advertiser defections Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They have profited handsomely from reaching you,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Now they have decided they don&#8217;t want to reach you anymore and we will replace them with advertisers who do.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Folks what is going on is bigger than Limbaugh.
