Problem that concerns people the most is these are hollow points. When one trains and practices on a firing range they are not using hollow points. Hollow points for starters cost more than your standard full metal jacket round. Hollow points have one true purpose… to deliver maximum damage to its target. You don’t go to the range and practice shooting at paper or metal targets with hollow points.<\/p>\n
What is one left to conclude on this? It can be summed up that it’s an act to deplete supply of ammunition to the public, raise prices of existing ammunition inventories (keep in mind it also notes standard rounds), increase prices and deplete raw materials (copper, lead, gun powder, brass) to manufacture ammunition esp for those who do their own reloads. We know this administration is anti-gun and they look for every angle to get weapons and ammunition out of the hands of the people. If they can’t directly go after gun owners via regulations, laws and taxes what’s their next best option? Make it harder to get ammunition and expensive! Listed on the federal business opportunities network, they’re looking for up to 175 million rounds of .223 caliber ammo<\/a> to be exact.
