Amazing you need ID to do just about anything in this country from driving to buying a pack of cigarettes but vote in an election its a g-damn free for all!<br \/>\n<strong>Welcome to the Banana Republic of the United States!<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/content.bitsontherun.com\/players\/iQecFY6O-dh3Zgtip.html\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>D.C. elections officials condemn O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Keefe voting ploy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/mike-debonis\/post\/dc-elections-officials-condemn-okeefe-voting-ploy\/2012\/04\/10\/gIQASbeY8S_blog.html\">By Mike DeBonis\/ The Washington Post<\/a><br \/>\nElections officials in the District are condemning conservative activist <strong>James O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Keefe<\/strong> as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153prankster\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/mike-debonis\/post\/james-okeefe-tries-to-defend-voter-id-laws-by-filming-dc-election-workers\/2012\/04\/09\/gIQAgINT6S_blog.html\" target=\"_blank\" data-xslt=\"_http\">latest hidden-camera ploy<\/a>, in which he sent an associate inside a D.C. polling place to demonstrate the need for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153voter ID\u00e2\u20ac\u009d laws by showing he could vote as the U.S. attorney general.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcboee.org\/home.asp\" target=\"_blank\" data-xslt=\"_http\">Board of Elections and Ethics<\/a> said the O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Keefe associate was \u00e2\u20ac\u0153misrepresenting his identity\u00e2\u20ac\u009d by walking into Spring Valley\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Precinct 9 on Tuesday and asking a poll worker if <strong>Eric Holder<\/strong> appeared on the rolls. But a representative of O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Keefe\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Project Veritas said no laws were broken in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The attorney general is indeed registered to vote in the precinct, and the poll worker invited the man to sign the poll book and proceed to vote. At that point, the man inquired about providing ID and was told it was not necessary before he left.<\/p>\n<p>The board said that the Holder incident is one of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153multiple incidents\u00e2\u20ac\u009d that took place last Tuesday that it continues to investigate. O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Keefe teased other hidden-camera episodes in the Holder video.<\/p>\n<p>The board\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s chairwoman, <strong>Deborah K. Nichols<\/strong>, said in a statement that polling places are open to public inspection by media and campaign observers. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153There is never any justification for disrupting the voting process with fraudulent activity,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Holder was specifically targeted, according to the video, because of the Justice Department\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s recent opposition to voter ID laws in two states requiring Voting Rights Act preclearance&#8230;. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/mike-debonis\/post\/dc-elections-officials-condemn-okeefe-voting-ploy\/2012\/04\/10\/gIQASbeY8S_blog.html\">Read More<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes America you are living in a bizarro world!
