I heard about BofA dropping McMillan Firearms a few days ago and was waiting to hear more on this but its pretty cut and dry. BofA doesn’t want to do business with companies manufacturing firearms. Little hypocritical on BofA too. They have armed security I’m sure, use armed armored car services to move money around, done business with the government (they did take our money via TARP)… all of these entities they use or do business with use guns!<\/p>\n

Looking for a new bank? Please keep this in mind when you make your selection! Now Glenn Beck went over this today on his radio show and I am a little peeved. He like many in conservative radio are against boycotts “I don’t do boycotts” but then he says “put your money where your heart is”! REALLY Glenn?!<\/p>\n

That is a nice way of saying boycott BofA by considering their position on 2nd Amendment and if you don’t agree with their position in your heart to do business and go elsewhere with a company that does match your feelings and opinions….. Just say boycott BofA Glenn! Choosing with your “heart” to not do business with BofA over their political position in choosing to not do business with McMillan or whomever is a boycott. When did boycott<\/em> become a bad word, and why are all conservative radio hosts afraid to say it?<\/p>\n

Know what I really don’t really care. So Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh etc won’t say it I will:
\nBOYCOTT Bank of America for their ANTI-2nd Amendment position. Counter Boycotts<\/a> are extremely effective and produce IMMEDIATE results.

Today Mr. Ray F., Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153That is correct\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he says.<\/p>\n

I replied \u00e2\u20ac\u0153That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153You have to do what you must\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153So you are telling me this is a politically-motivated decision, is that right?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

Mr. F. confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing left for him to say.<\/p>\n

I think it is import[ant] for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t agree with a business\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.<\/p>\n
