They didn&#8217;t have to make any ruling that was anti\/ pro gay marriage. So much for the will of the people! What SCOTUS did do was set a new precedent that votes do not matter. You put something up for a vote, the people cast their opinion and if you are the opposition and don&#8217;t like the ruling take it to court to get it overridden!<\/p>\n<p>So much for that pesky old Constitution and the 9th Amendment!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All the Supreme Court had to do was uphold the will of the people.
