#11 Change the Narrative
By BMartin1776
Everyday we see the radical “left” in control of the topics covered in the news. For whatever reason they are controlling it with no resistance where they suck the rest of the media in from other networks to the basement blogger. The most recent was over the NAACP claims of racism; Andrew Breitbart’s ‘BigGovernment.com’ got sucked into this badly. Their coverage was a constant barrage of article after article for over 2 days while other things were going on, most importantly the passing of the Wall St Reform Bill was completely ignored. This was a perfect execution of the “left” to control the narrative of what is and isn’t talked about in America.
America you cannot allow this to happen because this is how real issues get buried. So how do we do it? How do we control the narrative? Well we cannot depend on a website or some conservative news organization to do it. You must go after their audience or those directly or indirectly affected. You must get the emotions of their audience in play and turn them on their handlers because that will affect things at a greater level. Best way to describe what this tactic is about is through these two examples. So here we go:
1)Illegals – The topic on illegal immigration and amnesty is at the forefront of most discussion. 99% of the time we hear constantly that “they just want to better themselves and make a better life for their families”. Okay we get it and as of right now the “left” is executing this perfectly as they changed the narrative away from the fact that US law is being broken by these people who are here and turned it into a civil/ human rights issue. So how do “we the people” correct and change the narrative? Well you use some truth for starters. It is clear these people that have come here are working at a lower wage, some doing incredible amounts of labor for few dollars for something they would normally be paid much more. This is something most Americans can agree on, this is modern day slavery folks!
What you are witnessing is 21st century slavery. So change the narrative with illegals, we must convince them that those who are “on their side” all these loving politicians, special interest group and media outlets are perpetuating a lie to keep these people in modern day slavery. Are illegals being required to learn English, are government entities or businesses catering to the communication barrier? History has shown keep slaves dumb (uneducated) and unable to communicate but give them a little of what they need (food & shelter) and they do your bidding; in the past it was hard labor today vote for this politician, support that union or listen to only that media outlet. (Obviously the topic of slavery is more complex and isn’t as simple as it is being put here for this example we only need to touch on what is at the surface.) Are we not seeing a version of this today or do you like having to “dial #1 for English”, or see on a job posting that being bilingual is a pre-requisite for that job you want. There are countless examples to keep illegals ‘dumb and uneducated’ where they can be ‘controlled’. The ‘control’ today is promises of amnesty, free health care etc; meanwhile they come across the border and are taken advantage of and even manipulated for political and social gain. By changing the narrative illegals need to see that those who claim to be working for them are using them for power and control. Convince them by changing the narrative that they are modern day SLAVES! Where is it written that those in slavery must be clothed in rags, chained and beaten? “But what if they respond that those working in their favor will make things better?”
Really? Do you think that when an immigration bill comes up politicians and their support structure are going to mandate to stop catering to these people (dialing 1 for english will go away), there will be laws that they must speak English, learn US history etc etc? Based on the Health Care Bill and the Wall St Reform Bill we know all kinds of crazy funding and radical regulations get thrown in. C‘mon folks you are talking about individuals who do not read 2000 pg bills and then vote in favor of them. The powers that be will do just enough to appease illegals, anger you, to get votes and ensure their power.
2)Congress – Yes Congress can be manipulated too if you haven’t noticed. How do we or rather is there a way to get them to wake up? Well what is it they all really love? Money and the power, these are the two that make them go round and round. It is quite clear the majority of them live in a bubble out of touch with the people and reality. How many have actually read those 2000 pg bills they are passing? From time to time we are learning what is hidden in these bills where it appears their power is in fact being removed. In the Health Care Bill the President can call up a ready reserve core...
Isn’t this something that should be left to our legislators to decide if such a need arises? At the onset of WW2 after the
attack at Pearl Harbor Pres. Roosevelt couldn’t just say we are at war he had to go to Congress for a Congressional
Declaration of War. Fast forward to today, Congress had to give the okay to send troops to Iraq and Afghanistan no matter
how much the radical “left” wants to blame former Pres. Bush (yes he wanted it BUT Congress HAD to give the greenlight).
Do you think Congress realized this when the Heath Care Bill was authored? How much more power have they legislated out of their own hands into the Executive Branch? “But they are all power hungry why would they do this”? Exactly, we must change the narrative; the new narrative in dealing with these “people” is that they MUST be convinced that they are becoming irrelevant and losing their power!
Other examples could be used but going to the extreme, as described above, from 2 opposite ends of the spectrum (commoner to the power elite) seem most logical to demonstrate this tactic. From the bottom to the top we can see how changing the narrative and getting the accuser or accused to side with common sense folk, who are on the side of liberty and justice, is the logical approach. Heck taxpayers could be considered within the slave example, and supporters of the radical left could be used as well; Lenin called them “useful idiots”.
The point here is changing the narrative to the extreme on an issue and use it to your advantage. Remember in both these examples no lie was told facts are facts illegals can be considered a slave class and politicians through the bills they are not reading but passing ARE making themselves irrelevant! Is this spin? YES, but is what is being suggested untrue? You must realize that the extreme is a possibility. Remember Saving the Republic is about The Art of Political Guerrilla Warfare, unconventional and out of the box tactics. Changing the narrative allows a new angle for debate it hopefully will open doors to gain new allies and may possibly get some in opposition to switch sides. Need I remind you of 3/21/10 the day health care reform was passed and the US truly started its path into socialism. Status quo IS NOT working the daily news proves this.
This tactic may seem to some outlandish or far-fetched but consider this, the realities of today were the extremes of yesterday!
