The government doesn’t have any money because they are incapable of controlling their spending. If you had a friend or family member who made very little would you just keep handing them money to spend on frivolous things? Would you give money to someone who is completely irresponsible with buying junk they don’t need instead of paying their essential bills? If you were a bank would you loan money out to someone living way beyond their means?
