Rush Rips Media’s Predictable And Boring Reaction To His Criticism Of Hashtag Campaign

This hashtag activism is getting annoying but is sad, pathetic and does nothing in the bigger picture on serious issues. Do people really think terrorists on the other side of the world are concerned about liberals (some conservs), politicians and Hollywood dolts tweeting out their little hashtags about the girls kidnapped in Nigeria? You all cannot be that naive?! I speak simpleton so here ya go:

TERRORISTS DON’T READ TWITTER!

Where were all you hypocrites when little boys were burned alive in their school and those who escaped had their throats slit? Hm?! Where were you? You all do know the purpose of hashtags was to allow one to find tweets on certain topics right? It’s a search tool that has been perverted into some kind of PR stunt for politicians, activists and entertainers. I know I know it’s about raising awareness and that’s all fun and a great when we’re talking about cancer, a new product, new show, a hot story etc but people seem to think these hashtag campaigns will sway terrorists?! The awareness is there about the heinous acts of radical islam, it’s been there on the atrocities of the terrorists you just don’t listen because the majority of the time it’s those of us on the right sharing the info who aren’t wasting time with hashtag campaigns! The girls being kidnapped wasn’t cool to talk about until her majesty Moochelle tweeted out a pic of her sad face with #bringbackourgirls! That is what makes this all so outrageous and why so many have attacked the issue from Rush to Will Cain!

You libs making a big deal right now are sad pathetic little people who think a hashtag is going to change the world. That goes for folks on the other side of the fence too! With many of you #it’s #like #every #word #has #a #hashtag! Knock it off!

You want to change things, you want to change the world and get those in power to do something get out from behind your smart phone, tablet or computer and actually do something! Why don’t you folks set up camp at your state capital, the nation’s capital or the UN? Get in our so-called leaders faces and explain it to them we are tired of who they are running things!?

A lot of good things got accomplished before there was Twitter or social media because people were active and engaged in the real world. They had the will to do something and didn’t make excuses! Do you really think WW2 would have ended if someone started some hashtag campaign against Hitler? Do you really believe if some hashtags were posted about Japan they would have surrendered?

Grow up!
