Was wondering when Trump was going to hit 1 for 29 John Kasich for staying in the race. He is taking votes away from both Trump and Cruz. Kasich is the last hope for the GOPe to “steal” the nomination from outsiders Trump and Cruz at the convention. Under Rule 40 he has to win 8 races, the odds of that happening are slim to never so that should put a red flag up to everyone there is a chance the RNC could change the rules. How do we know this? Well, if they aren’t planning to tell him to get out why hasn’t the RNC done what Trump is saying here to get out!
Kasich is on record in almost every single interview he has given that he wants to take this to the convention. Well under the current rules he can’t get the nomination if it’s a contested convention. But if we’re talking brokered convention anyone could walk out as the nominee. This if course would mean the final nails being hammered into he the party’s coffin, but from the way things have gone that is happening regardless.
If Trump or Cruz doesn’t walk out of the convention as the GOP nominee then prepare for things to get bad. Those in the Cleveland area might want to go out of town the week of the convention because IMO fireworks are going to fly.
