I couldnt take listening to his speech anymore even tried listening via Mark Levins play by play. This speech was garbage, over using his odd voice inflection painting the picture to PASS it now and things will be better. In effect he is setting up his opposition who we know will not pass this bill of his. Then in the ’12 election he will say “I tried they wouldnt pass it they are the bad guys!”. Worst part of his ranting propaganda is to rationalize that we can save ourselves by building roads, bridges and airports “just like China”! How does that create prosperity? Early 20th it did because we had to build roads, bridges, railroads and airports to support the MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY! Along with them all the businesses that were in the “food chain” that supported manufacturers, where the entire world was coming to us to buy things!!!! WE DONT MAKE ANYTHING HERE ANYMORE! This IS the problem because of the policies from DC left & right have driven companies out of the US through regulations, taxes, UNION costs etc. We cannot compete with China, India, Taiwan etc etc because they USE SLAVE LABOR!
How you combat that I dont know other than to confront it head on and denounce it… this speech offered no solution just his first official ’12 campaign speech…..
