Uhh someone should remind her we aren’t a democracy we are a REPUBLIC. Sarandon carries on that Occupy has been “ridiculed, demonized, simplified and distorted by the media… sometimes faced intense police brutality”. She left out that alleged brutality is after Occupy draws “first blood” as the aggressor towards police. There is more than enough footage available showing who is responsible for the violence taking place. Maybe she should pay attention to how people are treated in other nations she supports and see what real brutality is!
Sarandon also left out the obscene amount of wealth she has accumulated over the years under the very system she is now helping Occupy to attack! Someone please tell me that if/ when conservatives retake DC the HUAC will be reinstated?!!
