Why is the gay/ lesbian community so hell-bent on using the term marriage? Civil unions grant them all the benefits as hetero couples enjoy through marriage. Marriage is defined as a joining of man and woman and yes has biblical reference. What this leads to is an argument to redefine the word which then falls into a war against religion!
