During his quest to make a point about high capacity magazines, giving the NRA’s Wayne LaPierre a hard time over gun rights on Meet the Press, David Gregory broke DC gun law by possessing one!
“Here is a magazine for ammunition that carries 30 bullets. Now isn’t it possible that if we got rid of these, if we replaced them and said, ‘Well, you could only have a magazine that carries five bullets or ten bullets,’ isn’t it just possible that we could reduce the carnage in a situation like Newtown?â€
The Patriot Perspective pointed out 3 major DC gun laws prohibiting the possession of high-cap mags!
Then to make matters worse whiny Gregory conveniently left out the fact his children go to a private school with armed guards! Daniel Halper over at the Weekly Standard wrote:
…when it comes to Gregory’s own kids, however, they are secured every school day by armed guards.
The Gregory children go to school with the children of President Barack Obama, according to the Washington Post. That school is the co-ed Quaker school Sidwell Friends.
According to a scan of the school’s online faculty-staff directory, Sidwell has a security department made up of at least 11 people. Many of those are police officers, who are presumably armed.
Moreover, with the Obama kids in attendance, there is a secret service presence at the institution, as well.
Don’t you just love hypocrisy and double standards of the radical left! More do as I say not as I do. Who wants to bet no one will call him out about the armed security for his kids or lift a finger bringing Gregory up on charges for possessing that high-cap mag?!
