Coulter walked right into a pit of vipers speaking her mind!
Bunch of issues were talked about here but for sake of discussion, demonstration of how someone like myself differs from members of other parties, let me chime in on this drug thing.
YES, do drugs all you want it’s your right to do what you want with your body! The problem is when you overdose it then becomes everyone’s problem because your dead body is now rotting in the street we are all stepping over. Your freedom to do as you please now infringes on my freedoms of clean air, reduced risk of disease yada yada. Or when you have had a little too much of whatever your poison is and get behind the wheel your FREEDOM to do what you want puts my life in jeopardy!
Libertarians have great arguments on issues like drugs until you counter with the flip side. We all know to well if you are not 100% on board with RP and the libertarian doctrine well then you are a neocon, warmonger, a fraud, you hate the Constitution etc etc. This is their problem, this is why they will never get to the presidency!
This is why I am not part of any party. Each one has good positions but then is off the ranch on others. I’m an American, who lives by common sense and the rule of law aka Constitution.
If any party is going to rise out of this nightmare we are in it will have to come from within Congress! Those we agree with, the Rand Paul’s, Mike Lee’s and Ted Cruz’s etc in Congress must break from the republican party and start a third party. It is the ONLY way a third party will have any legitimacy and foothold within DC to be a threat to the establishment and address these issues Coulter touches on.
The third party must rise and be lead from within, anyone trying to break in from the outside will be wasted votes. Past elections are proof enough.
