The emperor will ignore warnings from anyone within the regime about his out of control spending. His goal imo is to collapse the economic system and restart it under the progressives demented utopian vision.
The only way to counter this is to be more productive. That said do you see any actions from the White House or Congress to make that happen? No instead what you see are increasing taxes and regulations and of course unsustainable spending.
