All the bleeding heart tree hugging goodie goodies are going to come out of the woodwork for this terrorist. Acts of terrorism like blowing up 180 people killing 2 adults and one child are not law enforcement matters. Those that commit acts of terrorism are enemy combatants and the US soil IS the battlefield. Sugarcoat it all you want but that’s a fact. That said these terrorists do not deserve the same rights you and I are entitled to or the local dope-head stealing a car.
Bigger problem is if he is read his rights he will lawyer up and we will never get answers or find out if there are others. Rights read or not he can clam up but are you willing to take that chance? Dzhokhar Tsarnaev IMO gave up those rights many feel he is entitled to the moment he and his brother attacked this nation! We are talking about an act of terrorism with WMD’s. These are facts no doubt about it. Question some may ask is where is the line between criminal act and an act of terrorism. I dunno seeing that this administration won’t even acknowledge terrorism! Surely blowing up 180 people with bombs should have more weight that a mass shooting?! Consider this: Maybe he got citizenship to be put in the American judicial system hoping to avoid going to Gitmo! We don’t know when he and his brother were radicalized, from the nature of most of their family you have to wonder seeing that they all are saying this is all a set up. Also NONE of them picked up the phone and said “hey thats my brother/ nephews”!
People were screaming bloody murder about the hairy back guy being brought to US soil to be tried for 9/11 wanting him to stay in Gitmo and face military tribunal. Why is it this kid, a US citizen, who committed a violent act of terrorism should get special treatment that the mastermind of 9/11 didn’t get?
There’s line that must not be crossed we cannot treat these people like common criminals, they will work the legal system to their advantage and the next thing you will know some nut from the ACLU will be filing a suit on their behalf because they weren’t treated nicely!
