Ask yourself this question: what happened the last time a bill was rushed through everyone opposed?! Here’s another, why is it illegals are not being pressured to assimilate to our culture yet we are expected to assimilate to them? No? Guess calling a number and hearing instructions in spanish doesn’t bother you or you haven’t been asked “do you speak spanish”? I have been asked many times, and have seen job postings for local positions requiring bi-lingual (english/ spanish) applicants.
