Rep Gohmert is one of the few left in DC defending us. Please support him he not only under attack by the left but by the RINOs too!
First off this lie that “republicans” want to shut the government down coming out of progressives mouths has to be stopped. No one has said that, they have been adamant about maintaining funding to key programs etc. The only ones saying there will be a shutdown are the ones who want obamacare funded.
Second this language they are using is the same exact language progressives used over the sequester. Don’t forget emperor 0 wanted the sequester just like he wants a shut down. The world didn’t end when it kicked in, some programs were cut but so be it. It’s a chess game for positioning and rhetoric as get closer to 2014 elections.
Third, shut downs are a good thing at this point. We have had MANY shut downs as Mark Levin explained not too long ago. We even experience ” shut downs’ when DC goes on vacation, no one is there right now we are all still here! Key programs like Social Security and Medicare will still be taken care of. These monsters have proven they cannot be responsible with the people’s money.
