Speaking to the Longview, Texas Chamber of Commerce on Thursday Rep Gohmert warned about radicals abusing current laws on the books like the cuban adjustment act of 1966 to get naturalized. This act is a fast track to citizenship (approx one year) with all the benefits minus the long wait time a normal legal alien would have to wait. Illegal alien workers from Venezuela for example have been scammed trying to abuse this law. Consider how many radical islamists are coming across the border using it who aren’t being scammed!!
This is just another example of why we need the border secure and no new immigration laws. Sadly many members in the House are falling right into the progressives hands working on a bills that will inevitably lead to a Trojan Horse amnesty bill.
