Forgot about the IPAB didn’t you!? Presidential appointments to the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) aka the Death Panel will meet no resistance now that the Siths in the Imperial Senate have seized more power eliminating the Rebels ability to filibuster! (Yes I’m using language referenced to Star Wars because the similarities are no longer science fiction!)
Prof Foley spells it out clearly to Megyn Kelly “..it’s an amazing power move because basically what it’s going to allow the president to do is appoint these fifteen members of the IPAB with a simple fifty-one vote majority in the Senate rather than the usual sixty. And that’s a real game-changer cuz that’s go out the president put the most radical people on this important board that does have these god-like powers. So you could have someone with very radical views about health care rationing, about how or how much to pay providers and that’s going to have big effects for seniors.”
Foley notes there are several sections in barackobamacare that require a vote of three fifths super majority from the Senate which has now been compromised with the Reid/obama power grab!
Now that Harry Reid has invoked the nuclear option on behalf of Darth Hussein we can expect dark times upon us in the future. My advice to many of you is eat healthy and exercise because you are not going to want to get sick under this regime.
