Extending unemployment benefits isn’t going change the fact that the economy is wrecked. There are NO JOBS for the 100 million Americans out of work, this push for extended UE benefits is like putting a band-aid on a gaping wound. If Congress extends benefits another 3 months or 6 months people are still going to be out of work.
Yes the jobless desperately want to work but there are no jobs! Emperor 0 has done nothing for 5 years to stop this mess and only now asks for extended benefits. Instead of ramming healthcare down our throats that is a disaster Congress should have been doing something, anything to get the economy going. Instead they made moves to stifle business, took hostile action that forced companies to cut back or even go over seas. The regime caused this mess and now he thinks it can be fixed by extending UE benefits!? The economy is not growing, we are in the eye of the financial crisis storm.
