Sen Cruz warned we are heading into a Constitutional crisis when obama issues amnesty in the next 48 hours, sorry to say we’re already in a crisis. You can be sure Darth Hussein couldn’t careless and given the opportunity he would take a blowtorch to it.
While I am a huge supporter of Sen Cruz sorry to say his two solutions will go nowhere.
#1 Sen Majority Leader McConnell will never deliver an ultimatum to holdup confirmations/appointments until his majesty rescinds illegal amnesty
#2 Congress will balk on withholding funds aka using the power of the purse. Cruz gives the proper structure and language to use but you can be sure progressive RINO’s will torpedo it over political fears. Remember the republicans were adamant on being against obamacare but when it came time to put up or shut up and Cruz called for using power of the purse to defund 0care many progressives RINO’s torpedoed it! Trust me kids the RINO’s will screw us again.
These tools (power of the purse to impeachment) provided to Congress by the Founders under the Constitution were specifically designed to stop a dictator like obama. But over fear of political repercussion in losing their power, control and influence republicants would rather sit back and let the nation burn vs Saving the Republic!
Whats the solution then? Couldn’t tell you because we are in a de facto state of a cold civil war. Congress by lack of action has rendered themselves irrelevant setting a dangerous precedent. Our last option to take power back is through an Article V convention, but for whatever reason it is dismissed and misunderstood. It would not open the door for the entire Constitution to be rewritten, but return power to the states and the people to override an out of control govt.
You want to stop this president and take the nation back? Then it’s time to stop talking about Article V’ing them and doing it!

The Constitution designs a system of checks and balances for our nation, and executive amnesty for immigrants here illegally unilaterally decreed from the White House would seriously undermine the rule of law.
Our founders repeatedly warned about the dangers of unlimited power within the executive branch; Congress should heed those words as the president threatens to grant amnesty to millions of people who have come to our country illegally.
To be clear, the dispute over executive amnesty is not between President Obama and Republicans in Congress; it is a dispute between President Obama and the American people. The Democrats suffered historic losses in the midterm elections largely over the prospect of the president’s executive amnesty.
President Obama was correct: His policies were on the ballot across the nation in 2014. The elections were a referendum on amnesty, and the voters soundly rejected it. There was no ambiguity.
Undeterred, President Obama appears to be going forward. It is lawless. It is unconstitutional. He is defiant and angry at the American people. If he acts by executive diktat, President Obama will not be acting as a president, he will be acting as a monarch… more
