What a worm! Rand Paul backed Mitch McConnell in the primaries because of Mitch’s power and influence with the KY legislature. Why does that matter? KY has/ had a rule that restricted one from being in the Senate and running for POTUS at the same time. Said rule was of course changed and it is the only reason Rand Paul is running for POTUS. If Rand had to give up being a Senator he would not be campaigning right now. Mitch McConnell made that rule change happen in return for Rand’s support in the primaries and Senate to be majority leader. Paul is obligated to support McConnell and is why he can’t give a straight answer as to whether he still supports Harry Reid-lite!

You can be sure when the calls get louder for McConnell to be ousted like Boehner, Rand Paul will be in a corner somewhere keeping to himself or making excuses!
