Yes, republicans are to blame too but the dems/libs have done far more damage than the republicans could ever do because of their insane ideology. Dems/libs are driven by their hate for capitalism, love of cronyism and quest to ram climate change down our throats (for starters). Every bullet point Levin touches on that is killing jobs and our economic strength can be traced back to Washington, obama, the democrats and again yes some republicans. At this point think we all can agree those driving this country into the ground are progressives (R’s & D’s), so maybe Levin should revise his opening statement but he is still right.
The federal govt (infested with progressives) has stuck its nose in everything we do hindering, restricting, even regulating economic growth to death. The real unemployment rate is and has been holding at 22-23% for years. How can people get a job when those in power are pushing policies that hurt business and kill jobs? Pushing for a minimum wage increase means cuts have to come from somewhere or prices go up on customers who already cannot afford the price hike! We have a bunch of lawyers, academia elitists and social justice warriors, all of whom have never created a business let alone held a real job, dictating how to run the economy. The results from this “business model” they’re using is already showing itself as we’re on our way to a 2-class system which will be solidified after an economic collapse… they cause.
Don’t know since every chance we’ve had to get off this insane ride have been ignored and this nation will more than likely commit suicide election day 2016. Those who swore to do the right thing to act in the best interests of the people have ignored that oath. The Founders gave us an escape hatch in Article V Convention of the States, but being the fools we are we’ve allowed the very people we hate convince us we can’t have one!
People have got to get out of this “do nothing someone else will do it” mentality. The left fights for what they want and rarely takes no for an answer. The right sits back, raises a hand in disagreement but then stands down the moment anyone tells them to shut up. If you want to take your govt and nation back you’re going to have to get active speak out, take every single punch and verbal attack as the left has been doing. Yes, get active using their tactics from marches, sit-ins, boycotts etc because those tactics have worked. Accept you’re a racist, bigot, homophobe, xenophobe, whatever-phobe and start fighting back! Otherwise you might as well get in line for the handouts and do as you’re told by your progressive handlers.
