Multiple agencies (Reuters, Fox, Mediaite etc ) are reporting what can be deemed as a pathetic apology by NBC for their BLATANT editing of George Zimmerman’s 911 call as an “error”.
I can say with confidence it was blatant because ANYONE can get a copy of the 911 call and hear it in its raw entirety! It is absolutely irresponsible and dangerous for NBC to have aired their version of the call with high racial tensions across the country over the shooting.
NBC states: “During our investigation it became evident that there was an error made in the production process that we deeply regret… We will be taking the necessary steps to prevent this from happening in the future and apologize to our viewers.”
That’s it, no one lost their job! Meanwhile this editing of the 911 call has only infuriated those already thinking the shooting was cold blooded murder and racially driven. It will also make it even harder to pass on factual evidence as it ALL will be questioned now by the racist radical opportunists who have injected themselves into this tragic shooting!
