There is an ongoing narrative from the left against the Second Amendment:
“The framers were not talking about military style weapons.”
“The founders had muskets not semi-auto rifles.”
… and countless other examples of illogical nonsense
What lefties conveniently leave out is the fact that the musket and flintlock pistol were, at their time, military weapons and state of the art that civilians had access to.
Today the AR-15 and various other semi-auto rifles and pistols are the next evolutionary step from the musket and flintlock pistol. It’s the same difference!
Now behold this work of genius from Mark Levin yesterday with a liberal loon, who “agrees with the right to bear arms”, trying to pull the “musket” angle. In less than a minute Levin destroys this narrative by the left with sheer logic. This is just one example as to why he is referred to as the Great One!
If you want to shut a lefty up on this issue, use Mark’s words:
“… the First Amendment applied to newspapers not network television…”
