Gee what a coincidence, they make this decision as whistleblowers are expected to speak out next week about Benghazi! The regime is going to make it official and legitimize what Chris Stevens was more than likely doing, running guns into the middle east, out of Benghazi!
By the way who are the Syrian rebels? Does the regime know yet or will it be a repeat of Libya arming terrorists? Not that it matters since the admin is active in support and protection of terrorists as of late!
