Rove is dead wrong Obamacare won’t collapse. If anything it will be disaster that the left will come in with a solution ie single payer!
The pundits used this type of logic in the 90’s against Clinton and he only ended up getting re-elected. This idea of “let it go” or “it will die on its own” is a lie. Anyone against defunding Obamacare doesn’t want it stopped. There is no way to get it repealed, the votes don’t exist. The regime knows this and is why they are delaying provisions so many people will be on Obamacare that it will be impossible to repeal if a majority every comes to power.
It’s not on republicans or even democrats who oppose Obamacare to shut down the government. The government can and would be funded through the continuing resolution(CR). Bills can be passed to keep parts of the government people approve of running so do not fall for the lies of government shutdown. Sen Lee, Cruz and company are proposing to only have all future funding of Obamatax be pulled from CR while supporting funding to other government programs. Politicians who are truly against the bill will support the move to have it defunded the only ones with the true burden of a shutdown would be those want Obamacare fully implemented using Rove’s failed logic.
The republican leadership and “consultants” are the only ones right now standing in the way. Those who stand opposed are enemies to the Republic.
