Hume relying on McCain’s word that the Syrian rebels are good guys is beyond naive! How can you put confidence in someone, like McCain who acts more like a democrat than republican, that thinks they know another well enough to support them after only ONE meeting? Who is to say the rebels didn’t put a show on for McCain during his visit to get help from the US? That’s never happened before right, someone telling you what you want to hear so you can get their help!
The naivety from all parties about taking action against Syria is insane! Everyone talking about this continues to ignore the Iran/ Russia connection. This is not like Iraq or Afghanistan, you hit Damascus you’re hitting Tehran! I know this, most of you reading this get it but these people completely dismiss don’t even acknowledge it!
I’m telling you America if obama gets the green light to strike from Congress it’s not going to be just a few Tomahawks. He will put boots on the ground, they’re already there! It’s also not going to be a punch in the nose to Assad and things wind down. There will be a retaliation most likely against Israel and then all bets are off!
