Denis McDonough like a typical member of the regime did a pathetic job dodging a straight forward question. First off he like all in the regime passes the buck of responsibility saying the world drew the red line 100 years ago. There is no world support, no red line has been drawn by other nations. They may have commitments from other nations but that is all most likely IF Congress approves of the strike. It is on we the rebels to pressure DC to vote against striking Syria. This is nothing like taking action in Iraq, Afghanistan or even Bosnia… you hit Damascus you are hitting Tehran.
Another thing none of the warmongers are even talking about are the threats of retaliation. Sure they have mentioned the threats on Israel but that is expected. What isn’t being discussed is tied to our bigger problem here in the US. There are terror cells in the US waiting for the green light to strike. Some got here through the front door but IMO the real nasty guys have strolled undetected right across our southern border!
Can anyone here tell me if the US attacks Syria there won’t be terrorist attacks on US soil? Don’t assume they will be shock and awe campaign either. They know we are expecting these types of attacks. We should be alert and expect lone wolf type attacks similar to Ft Hood, DC Sniper and related.
