Cuccinelli’s loss is a result of the fundamental problem between left and right. The left puts its money and actions where its mouth is. The right talks a big game but will not commit money or boots on the ground. The same right accused of being evil and rich, for whatever reason hoards its money never donating a penny, only offering well wishes and “good luck” to those on the front lines in this battle of Saving the Republic. I know because I have personally received these well wishes when I have asked for help to promote STR!
There is all this talk about the Kochs and their money but who are they funding? I keep hearing accusations about how they and other evil rich people on the right are funding the right-wing machine but who and where?! The GOP won’t open their coffers to anyone not perfect in step with their agenda either!
Cuccinelli was outspent by $15 million dollars, and yes it was a close race but imagine if he actually had the same financial backing McAuliffe had? As for Sarvis he was progressive plant claiming to be libertarian with big government policies that took votes away from Cuccinelli. I mean even Ron Paul came out and said don’t vote for him yet 145,000 Virginians went ahead anyway!
Those 145K votes made the difference in this election and those of you who voted for Sarvis just helped bring VA one step closer to being a socialist state.
One more thing to consider, most of super rich we hear about are leftists i.e. Bloomberg, Soros, Oprah, Gates and Joe Liemandt who bankrolled Sarvis etc yet the right is attacked as the evil rich… Yea so evil they don’t lift a finger in campaign funding AND THAT’s A FACT JACK!
Wealthy folks on the right offering pats on the back wishing good luck put your money where your mouth is or shut up! Oh and do us a favor stop sending contributions to the GOP because it’s not getting to the candidates! #DEFUNDTHEGOP
