“the army has very few units that are ready to fight today”
The last thing that we should be seeing budget cuts in are to our military. How about the bobbleheads in DC cut the $30 billion in wasteful spending Sen Coburn pointed out in his annual oversight report “Wastebook 2013” before they start reducing our military? Our enemies around the world are building up their military while the US is doing the complete opposite. This is just another example of fundamental transformation from taking the US from superpower status to third world dictatorship.
If that isn’t bad enough as Keane points out our Army isn’t ready to go to war what do the geniuses in DC plan to do when our power grid gets taken down leaving us defenseless?!
