Intel Chief Admits US Underestimated ISIS

No one underestimated the rise & threat of ISIS. They knew exactly who these people are and chose to play it down because obama wanted nothing to do with it, assuming ISIS would only be a regional threat; “over there” as dems like to say in dismissing and trivializing the terror group. Obama wants nothing to do with the war on terror. He wanted to end all operations and American presence to appease his Muslim Brotherhood friends while gaining political points by saying “the war is over troops are coming home, Osama bin Laden is dead and al-Qaeda is on the run”.

Clapper has no credibility since he lied to Congress that Americans are not being spied on. The Director is more or less covering his ass for doing what he is told by obama instead of upholding his oath to protect Americans. When ISIS strikes in the US no one in the imperial regime will have anywhere to hide, nor anyone to blame. The blood of our allies and inevitably Americans is on the hands of democrat politicians to senior officials and those in the white house! They are more concerned with keeping an eye on we the people than terrorists. Haven’t you heard they just pulled the plug on intel operations in Europe!

Under the stand-down order, case officers in Europe largely have been forbidden from undertaking “unilateral operations” such as meeting with sources they have recruited within allied governments. Such clandestine meetings are the bedrock of spying.

CIA officers are still allowed to meet with their counterparts in the host country’s intelligence service, conduct joint operations with host country services and conduct operations with the approval of the host government. Recently, unilateral operations..more
