Lt Col Peters makes very argument about the true intentions of the airstrikes launched against ISIS:
“These strikes last night were designed to limit terrorist casualties. These were not serious, manful strikes, and I’ll give you the evidence.
Why did we go in at night?
There was no air defense threat, could.ve done it in broad daylight! If you wanted to kill terrorists, you would have hit those headquarters and compounds and logistics sites at 10 or 11 in the morning, when they were crowded with leaders, staff officers, flunkeys, etc. Instead, we hit empty buildings at night. We knocked down antennas,we blew out windows. That is not the way to defeat terrorists who behead Americans.â€
Obama is putting on a show for the world giving the illusion he is doing something against ISIS. He doesn’t want kills, he has never come out publicly and said ISIS needs to be wiped out. He wants to manage and organize the region not rid it of these monsters! This is all for political points to save dems seeking re-election showing he/ they are not soft on terror. ISIS will use this attack, and the others to follow, as propaganda to recruit more fighters. It will not stop their plans on building the caliphate, attacking the US and our allies. As a matter of fact IMO this will only agitate them and encourage them to accelerate whatever plans they have!
