Well like her or not Ann Coulter is right. Yes the example she uses is extreme but we are living in extreme times. You can take the logic she is using, break it down to its simplest form and apply it to almost any argument on immigration.
What is difference between illegal aliens and ISIS infiltrating the US? Both want to bring their culture to the US and fundamentally transform it. The act is the same and the damage they do in the US is practically same. Pro-immigration types don’t even try to say illegals are not trying to change our culture they REFUSE to assimilate to American culture pushing their “_ pride”. It’s practically a crime and one faces civil rights suit for being a proud American and expressing it. For example American kids can’t wear American flag shirts or fly flags when they go to school because it might offend someone. Same can be said on ISIS, they want to destroy our culture have everyone praying 5 times a day and being submissive to sharia law.
Illegals have driven a wedge between Americans no thanks to pandering politicians who trivialize their effect on the nation. They are leaching on the welfare state, putting a drain on the economy, taking jobs from Americans. Illegals are coming here unvaccinated bringing all kinds of diseases and illnesses which is a public heath threat. Many illegal alien criminals are here right now stealing, killing, raping, molesting Americans. They are doing wide scale irreparable damage to the US, damage terrorists dream of!
That said same arguments can be made about ISIS coming here where radical politicians trivialize their crossing of the border and what they may or may not do here as well. Americans are divided on how to deal with them, some want action while others want to see appeasement. does this sound familiar? ISIS can do the same amount of damage to the economy via an attack and put our public health system at risk. FYI there is nothing written anywhere saying they wont bring some kind of disease into the country in the hopes of creating a pandemic. Frankly we dodged a bullet (maybe) with the ebola scare because all it takes is a syringe of infected blood injected into a terrorist who crosses the border with illegals infecting them who are then let loose among the US population. Far-fetched, sounds too much like a Hollywood movie? Yep, but the daily news of today 5-10 years ago would be called far-fetched too!
Coulter takes her argument to the extreme because we live in extreme times. We have to stop being nice, stop with political correctness because it’s destroying this nation.
Jorge Ramos spars with Ann Coulter over her comparison of immigrants to ISIS

In her first interview ahead of the publication of her new book, Adios, America! conservative commentator Ann Coulter stood by her claim that Americans should “fear immigrants” from Mexico “more than ISIS,” the extremist group making gains across Iraq and Syria.
“I have a little tip. If you don’t want to be killed by ISIS, don’t go to Syria. If you don’t want to be killed by a Mexican, there’s nothing I can tell you,” Coulter said in an interview Tuesday with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos.
After several seconds of silence from a rather stunned audience, she added, “Very easy to not be killed by ISIS. Don’t fly to Syria.”
“Are you really saying…we’re talking about 40 million immigrants in this country?” Ramos said. When he pressed Coulter further, she suggested that certain “cultures are obviously deficient.”..more
