Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is reported to have shown no reaction when he was sentenced to death. Tsarnaev will join over 60 federal death row inmates waiting for execution. The last time a federal inmate sentenced to death execution was carried out was in 2003! With that in mind and knowing he is on the bottom of the list waiting for appeals or executions to be carried out what does that tell you!? We will have to go to the appeal phase which will siphon more taxpayer dollars to keep this certified waste of flesh alive for at least another 4-10 years.
I think it’s safe to say deep in the minds of law enforcement and military that if they have a high profile dirtbag in their sights, wanted for multiple murders of Americans like Tsarnaev, they are going to take the shot and spare this nation the time and money of trials and appeals. Yes, I am all for due process but with all the evidence the prosecutors have this case should have been over quickly not years later and the sentence should be carried out immediately. Tsarnaev doesn’t deserve to live another day for the carnage and destruction he and his brother caused Boston and for the nation. Oh and many of us haven’t forgotten the window of opportunity their attack gave to those in power who more or less put Boston under martial law! To this day no one has really addressed that and it’s quite concerning because the govt learned how far they can go in the name of “for your security”.
