Maxine Waters is back at it making outlandish claims going so far as to call the migrant caravan “crisis” a ‘political ploy’ by Pres Trump!
‘Well, I am very saddened to see this situation with desperate people and all of this has been political ploy of the President of the United States of America. He made this the central part of his platform, that he was going to do something about these migrants who were coming here. He called them killers and rapists, and he certainly did stoke a lot of fear about these migrants who are trying to get in, and so he promised the American people he was going to make Mexico pay for it all, that we would not have to pay a dime for it and now we have this chaos. That’s what he wants, he wants to stoke fear.’
Waters claims that this manufactured humanitarian crisis is a political ploy is absurd. The President REACTS to situations, he does not create them regardless what the left would have you believe. Trump did not create Sanctuary Cities that are magnets for illegals. Trump is not responsible for the lax border enforcement that’s been going on for decades. Trump is not the one who opened the door to social welfare programs for illegal aliens to participate and abuse.
The democrats love the border invasion, it’s giving them all kinds of ammo to use against POTUS and of course as Waters suggested opened the door for their dream of immigration reform which really means amnesty. If democrats were serious about immigration reform they would have done something about it years ago when they held a super majority with obama in the White House. They did nothing because they don’t want to do anything about it. Look at the news coverage, they love it, especially when the “migrants” rush the border attack US agents and are repelled with tear gas. That’s all they’re talking about and it resonates with the uninformed who believe their every word.
Waters and co will use it as well as other issues to go after Trump for the next 2 years. Democrats are not going to accomplish anything holding majority in the House. They will attack, attempt impeachment and do everything possible to increase their power. This is why “migrants” cannot be allowed into the US, once that happens more will come, it will be out of control and as discussed here in the past they WILL change the US’s demographics leading to eventual one party rule, as they did in CA.
