Violence has been going on for a very long time in Chicago but is has increased exponentially over the last couple of years. The President has threatened for mayor Lori Lightfoot to get things under control or he would send federal troops in. Like clockwork Lightfoot pointed the finger of blame for the daily shootings on the lack of gun control.
Chicago, and the state for that matter, has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country. Dems claim people buy the guns out of state and bring them into the city to cause chaos and mayhem ignoring the fact the majority of guns recovered are from IL! What these fools don’t understand is that all their gun control has done nothing to stop the violence, except disarming law-abiding citizens leaving them at the mercy of criminals.
Dems never let any crisis go to waste, not even their own cities being burned down and shot up. The gun is the problem not the criminals using them. Apparently guns just jump in people’s hands forcing them to go around shooting innocent people, children and even babies. The gang violence is all Whitey’s fault, not the democrats who have been running the city into the ground for decades.
Sad thing is many Chicago citizens know exactly what’s going on yet the vote for the same people and party every election. Democrats are the problem not guns, VOTE THEM OUT!
