Michelle Fields nailed it in her opening statement, the problem with the VA is not money, staff it’s the union that gets in the way. Unions put pressure on Congress and it filters downs to the nightmare we have today of poor care, vets left for dead for a handful to get their bonus! Williams is nuts if he thinks care is better at the VA vs a private hospital. Hoenig has the right plan give our vets vouchers and let them get care where they choose. Why should govt dictate their care when they are leaving many for dead!?
