Well I must disagree with Krauthammer obama’s foreign policy has not collapsed everywhere! The worldwide meltdown is exactly what he and the progressives want. Do you think fundamental transformation is restricted within the continental US border? Of course not, no one could be this incompetent and get as far as obama has, it’s impossible.
Obama’s lax policies have emboldened all of Americas enemies around the world. He has in fact empowering radical regimes, like Iran, to become the new global world powers as he brings the US down. It is foolish to think a country like Iran will all of a sudden give in to whatever nuclear deal they are presented with this weekend. They have said repeatedly they will move forward no matter what and the last deal allowed them to continue enrichment.
Iran is an oil rich nation what do they need with nuclear power (their argument)? They don’t, their nuclear energy program is a smokescreen to develop weapons they WILL USE! This is a nation who has been very clear they want Israel wiped off the map and the US is next! By the way 5-7+ years ago all the talking heads were waving the red flag that Iran would have a bomb in 5-7 years… well guess what? We’re passed that deadline!
When Iran has enough weaponized nuclear material they will not waste it in a show of power in the middle of the desert. They will do a live fire test, via a proxy (Hamas, Hezbollah etc) and it won’t be delivered from a missile. The bomb they develop will be a small yield bomb (think The Sum of All Fears) …
…enough to take out a city block or two loaded in the back of a car, truck or van driven into a major city and set off. No? Think about it for a second do you think they will spend all this time to get enough material to waste it in the desert KNOWING the consequences after detonation? The Iranians know if they set a bomb off in the desert their nuke facilities will be attacked and heavy sanctions will leveled. So why waste the opportunity? The consequences will happen regardless so they might as well kill as many as they can in the process!
