In the wake of yet another terror attack the same problem exists today as it did when this vid from “Homeland” came out. The US has no strategy on how to deal with terrorists, more specifically ISIS nor your run of the mill jihadist. As Homelands CIA operative Quinn (Rupert Friend) points out:
“They [ISIS] have a strategy. They’re gathering right now in Raqqa by the tens of thousands, hidden in the civilian population, cleaning their weapons and they know exactly why they’re there.” … “They call it the end times. What do you think the beheadings are about? The crucifixions in Deir Hafer, the revival of slavery? Do you think they make this shit up? It’s all in the book. Their fucking book. The only book they ever read, they read it all the time. They never stop.
They’re there for one reason and one reason only: to die for the caliphate and usher in a world without infidels. That’s their strategy and it’s been that way since the seventh century.”
There is only one solution as to how to deal with jihadist terrorists from ISIS to al Qaeda and all their spinoffs hiding among the civilized world. “Hit reset. Pound” whatever region of the world they have infested “into a parking lot”. Don’t send ground troops in to fight them because you’re only giving them what they want. Bomb the hell out of them, unleash the true might of the most powerful military on the face of the Earth. For those hiding in towns and cities, it’s time to raid the hell out of them. The people get it, we understand govts like to leave them in play to watch them, see who they’re talking to, what locations they’re giving a lot of attention to. But let’s be honest, how many times have we heard the govt, law enforcement, intel agencies were aware of an attacker?! Too many times. We need to get ahead of these losers, instead of being a step behind resulting in bodies of innocent men, women and children.
For the larger regions like Syria where these killers got to train, once they have been decimated to small numbers then you send in troops in an overwhelming size to mop up of the last of this virus poisoning the civilized world. But in order to do that we need leaders who won’t get in the way.

Aside from the jihadi problem we have a leadership problem. The ASSholes in Congress have put a stranglehold on the Pentagon preventing them from allowing our troops to do what they are trained to do: KILL the enemy! Let’s not sugarcoat it, our military is trained to kill, but the G-damn bureaucrats won’t let them fight. They have put insane restrictions on the rules of engagement. Hopefully with the new leadership we have now in DC our Marines, as well as the other branches, would “defeat these fu€£kers in a week”.
As for the state and local level, a similar problem exists where elected leaders (mostly democrats) restrict how law enforcement can deal with these losers who embrace death. We live in a new dangerous world where there are people hell-bent on killing anyone who disagrees with them. The people need to spell this out to those who want to pander to these killers. You do that by voting them out of office or recalling them. Otherwise the day will come when citizens flip the bird to govt, who will do whatever they have to, to protect their family and community.
