Make no mistake about it Johnnie Langendorff and Stephen Willeford are heroes. There is no telling what the Sutherland Springs killer would have done after killing 26 and wounding 20 in the First Baptist Church. His killing spree could have very well continued, as Johnnie explains there was more weapons and ammo in his vehicle, possibly into a standoff with police where officers could have been shot and killed too.
Johnnie and Stephen’s spirit are examples of who we really are. Johnnie said the only thing on his mind was “Get him… Because that’s what you do, you chase the bad guy.” As for Stephen we don’t know much about him yet, other than he is a plumber, was an NRA instructor who was napping, alerted to gunfire by his daughter, who immediately grabbed his AR-15, ran out and engaged that waste flesh.. with no shoes on!(That matters to show how quickly he reacted)
Don’t listen to the lies of the Left, their condemnation, declarations to hide and not get involved. Also, Willeford’s response demonstrates the Left’s arguments against owning an AR are trash, force on force is the only solution in dealing with evil doers.
WE ARE THE FIRST RESPONDERS, and we don’t need permission to do what is right. The Left wants us to cower to their harsh rhetoric, cave to their demands for more gun control when it is clear NO LAW could have stopped that attack. Gov Abbott and State AG Paxton both are clear more people need to be armed and ready to respond vs more laws that disarm the public leaving them defenseless against monsters who live among us.
